A game of skill where you try to blow up the floating bombs on each level. Be careful, though, because you only get one shot. You must time your “boom” so that it causes a chain reaction of all the other bombs as they run into your explosion.

If you don’t explode enough bombs, you get to repeat the level before you can move on to the next one.

There are 22 challenging levels that will keep you “exploding” for hours.

Crumbled 2

In this game you are a crumpled piece of paper, trying to survive in a hostile world of spinning pencils and flying ink blobs. There are 30 fun and challenging levels, which start out pretty easy but gradually get harder as you go.

The fun twist to this game is that you must use your mouse to draw the land that the paper travels upon. Survive to reach the flag and move on to the next level. At the end is a giant pencil boss that you must hit on his eraser to drain him of health and win the game.

This is version 2 of Crumbled 1, and has all new levels and challenges.

Intensub 2

This is an awesome remake of the first Intensub game. You play as a little sub surrounded by enemy ships and planes. The sub must shoot the bad guys before they shoot him! The longer you charge your missiles the more points you will get. Grab the health powerups to heal your shields.

This version adds some cool powerups including a “nuke” that gets rid of all enemies on the screen and integrated hiscores.

Game Jacket closes its doors

As of the second week in June, 2009, Game Jacket is no longer on the web. Pretty sad for the developers who were counting on the generous payouts offered by GJ and for the webmasters who invested a lot of time in putting GJ games on their sites.

I contacted them to see what was going to happen to all the game assets they have on their servers. Simon Jones, the Managing Director of GameJacket, sent me a nice email in return stating that their games are owned by the devs and GJ was only a “vehicle” for distribution – so nothing could be done as far as recovering the games for hosting elsewhere.
He also sent me a comprehensive list of all the games that GJ had in inventory so it would be easy to find them on my site.
In case it would help you, here is the list of all games GJ was hosting (it’s a big list!).

Tubifix

Tubifix is a unique puzzle game where you try to connect pieces of a worm together to make a really long one.

The goal is to combine the pieces into complete worms by connecting each head to a tail. Click on the pieces to rotate them. Longer worms earn more points and more extra time. There are no red worms in this worm farm, just cool looking green worms.

There are 3 ways to play Tubifix.
In Puzzle mode, you want to make the worms as long as possible. You try to get the highest score in a single level In Challenge mode, you have to make increasingly long worms. Making one too short means the game is over. In Arcade mode, you play against the clock. The game ends when your time is up.

Heli Combat

If you have played HeliAttack 1, 2 or 3, you will like this game. You are a helicopter pilot and are surrounded by enemies.

Some of the enemies are on the ground and some are in the air. You must use your rockets, bombs and machine guns to get rid of them before they get rid of you! Record your highest score on the high score page.

There are also 4 kinds of upgrades for your helicopter.

Intensub Game

Here is a new shooter game that lets you blast ships out of the water. You play a submarine that is trying to survive an onslaught of bombs and depth charges that are being hurled at you from above. You must charge up your sub missile and fire at just the right time to destroy the enemy ships.

The longer you charge up your missiles, the more points you will get for hitting the ships above. There are health powerups that come along occasionally and heal your shields.

The game keeps daily, weekly, monthly high scores so you can see how you did in the game vs. other people.

All in all, a very fun game!

Bubble Trouble 2

This has got to be one of the most fun and popular games on the internet! It’s called Bubble Trouble 2 (sometimes called Bubble Struggle: 2, Rebubbled). Designed as a follow-up for Bubble Trouble 1, this game takes the bubble-popping adventure of the little red character with the bubble zapper to a whole new level.

Bubble Struggle 2 is characterized by colorful backgrounds that are different for every level and a simple, fun game design.
The object of the game is to destroy the dangerous bubbles that bounce around the screen by splitting them into smaller components and finally destroying them altogether.
You have to be careful not to get hit or it’s curtains for you.

You can play single or multi-player and the game even saves your progress so you can come back and try again without starting over.
